Hotels :
Sao Paulo is the financial and business hub of Brazil and has many excellent hotels, but the majorities are geared to corporate executives; tourists are a low priority. A large number of hotels cluster around the downtown core of Centro, the major financial district of Avenida Paulista, and the upscale shopping and restaurant district Jardins. The neighborhood of Jardins is one of the safest areas of the city, and even at night, one can very comfortably go for a stroll. Women traveling alone will feel completely comfortable in this part of town.
