General Information:
Spanish Conquistador Francisco de Orellana founded Guayaquil on 25th July in the year 1538. The city nestled at the western margin of the River Guayas is considered to be the most populous city of Ecuador. The largest city and the main seaport have a population of 2,189,865. The city is famous for its fishing and manufacturing industries. The climate of the city remains to be hot and humid during the time between December to April.
