Akron is situated at the northeastern part of Ohio on the Cuyahoga River. The city of Akron lies between Cleveland to the north and to the south lies Canton. Nestled at the western side of the Pennsylvanian border was founded in the year 1825. The city comprises of the total area of 161.6 sq. Km. Climate :
Akron is blessed with a humid continental climate with a fairly well distributed rainfall throughout the land. Most of the rainfall occurs during the summer months while autumn receives a less amount of rainfall. The irony of the climatic conditions lies in the fact that although December happens to be the cloudiest month, July being the sunniest month receives much of the rainfall. Snowfall received by the state is lighter in compare to the other snowbelt areas to the north and Lake Erie is said to impart a great influence on the weather.
