Sulaymaniyah, a northern Iraqi city is perhaps the second largest city of the country. It is the capital of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan. The region since the Gulf War of 1991 has been under the strict vigilance of the United States and Britain. As estimated, approximately 500,000 to 750,000 numbers of residents live in the city. Sulaymaniyah has recently witnessed a major influx in population because of the massive scale of immigration.
