General Information:
Kigali the capital city of Rwanda is a wonderful hill city located in the heart of Rwanda. Flanked by four ridges and valleys Kigali boasts of a moderate high altitude climate. Mt. Kigali offers spectacular scenic views amidst lush surroundings. Kigali was under German colonial rule until its independence in 1962. The city is home to Kigali International Airport one of the major airports of Rwanda. Many international flights like SN Brussels, Kenya Airways Ethiopian Airlines, Air Burundi and Rwandair Express arrive and depart from Kigali. There is also one domestic air route from Kigali, to Cyangugu. Daily coach services are available from Kigali to east Africa. Kigali is the hub of the Rwanda transport network, with reliable express bus routes connecting major towns.
